Marketplace Rules

Who Can Post

VIP members can post classified listings. All members can browse and contact sellers. Listings are for grow-related equipment, nutrients, lighting, books, and supplies only.

Allowed Listings

• Grow equipment: lights, tents, fans, filters, pots, trays.
• Nutrients, amendments, and growing media.
• Books, media, and educational materials.
• Seeds and clones where legal in your jurisdiction — seller is responsible for compliance.

Prohibited Listings

• Illegal substances or products intended for illegal use.
• Stolen, counterfeit, or recalled goods.
• Weapons, drug paraphernalia, or hazardous materials.
• Live animals or regulated agricultural products requiring permits.
• Personal data or account credentials.

Seller Responsibilities

• Describe items accurately — include condition, defects, and photos.
• Set clear pricing: Fixed, OBO (or best offer), Free, or Contact.
• Respond to buyer messages within a reasonable time.
• Mark listings as Sold once the transaction is complete.
• Comply with all local, state, and national laws regarding the sale of your items.

Buyer Protections

The Growers Guild facilitates connections between buyers and sellers but does not process payments or guarantee transactions. Use the Report button if a listing is fraudulent, misleading, or violates these rules. Listings marked Sold are automatically removed after 48 hours.

Privacy in Listings

Listing photos have EXIF metadata stripped before storage. Do not include personal contact information in listing photos. Use the in-app messaging system to share contact details with confirmed buyers.
